Mission
NATURALLY NEGROS' VISION IS:
To encourage dignity and independence in Deaf Filipino individuals such that they become contributing, well-adjusted members of the hearing society around them.
NATURALLY NEGROS' MISSION IS:
1) To establish income-generating projects to supply the mother organization (PICD, Inc. - see below) with funding sufficient for self-sustanance in the long term.
2) To provide employment for Deaf adults.
3) To provide livelihood projects to Deaf adults such that they become increasingly independent.
4) To prayerfully support the overall vision and mission of PICD, Inc.
PHILIPPINE IMMANUEL CHURCHES OF THE DEAF (PICD) Inc’s VISION IS:
To effectively establish the kingdom of God among Deaf people. This vision focuses the Great Commission of Jesus (i.e. preach the Gospel to all people) on a group of people who have generally been left out. Using sign language as the primary means of communication, we aim to break the barrier of the dark and silent world of many Deaf people, with the penetrating light of the Living Word of God.
PICD BACOLOD’S MISSION IS:
Multi-faceted, but each facet fits neatly within the Vision Statement. The ministry falls into six general categories:
(1) To establish churches for Deaf people
(2) To train Christian leaders--both Deaf and hearing--to minister among Deaf people
(3) To provide Christian education for Deaf people (through churches, dormitories and Bible colleges)
(4) To provide a holistic approach to ministry, including vocational training and community awareness
(5) To provide opportunities for the empowerment and personal development of Deaf people
(6) To be a witness of God’s power through lives of dedication, modesty and integrity
